CHT Journal is operated by Clear Head Trading, a sole proprietorship based in South Africa ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms govern your use of CHT Journal at journal.clearheadtrading.com (the "Service").
CHT Journal is a trade journaling and performance-analytics tool. It helps you record, review, and analyze your own trading activity. It does not execute trades, place orders, provide trading signals, or give financial, investment, or tax advice. Nothing in the Service should be treated as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.
You must provide a valid email address and keep your login credentials confidential. You're responsible for all activity under your account. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Free plan — manual/CSV trade entry, full stats and analytics, limited screenshot storage.
Paid plan — $12/month USD, billed via Paddle.com, our payment processor and merchant of record. Adds automated trade sync (Expert Advisor) and expanded screenshot storage.
Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and tax collection on our behalf; we never see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled — see our Refund Policy for cancellation terms. Founding-member access may be granted at our discretion (e.g. to beta testers) and can be withdrawn or changed.
You own the trade data, screenshots, notes, and reflections you upload. We store it to provide the Service (see our Privacy Policy for details) and don't sell it or use it to train third-party models. You can export your full trade history as CSV at any time from Settings.
Don't: use the Service for anything illegal; attempt to access another user's account or data; reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service; upload malicious content or content you don't have the right to share; use the leaderboard or community features to harass or impersonate others.
We aim to keep the Service running reliably but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and features may change as the product evolves.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Manage subscription, or delete your account entirely from Settings → Danger zone. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
The Service is provided "as is." We're not liable for trading losses, decisions made using data logged in the Service, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
